Clement Clarke Moore Children’s Books
Clement Clarke Moore was an American scholar and professor best known for one poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas, first printed anonymously in 1823. Its opening line, 'Twas the night before Christmas, is among the most recited in English. The poem did much to shape the familiar picture of Father Christmas with his sleigh and reindeer.
