Carlo Collodi Children’s Books
Carlo Collodi was the pen name of Carlo Lorenzini, an Italian writer who was born in Florence in 1826. He wrote The Adventures of Pinocchio as a serial for a children's newspaper in the early 1880s, one instalment at a time. It went on to become the best known Italian children's book in the world.
