A question-and-answer rhyme between two children off to help with the haymaking. The call-and-response shape makes it easy to act out with a partner, one voice asking, the other answering.
From Mother Goose / Nursery Rhymes (traditional). See the whole collection.
"Willy boy, Willy boy, where are you going?
I will go with you, if that I may."
"I'm going to the meadow to see them a-mowing,
I'm going to help them to make the hay."
