An old woman spinning takes on a calf and, in a string of quick, odd little steps, ends up throwing it by the tail over a wall. The whole thing is deliberately absurd and over in seconds, closer to nonsense than to anything that happened.

From Mother Goose / Nursery Rhymes (traditional). See the whole collection.

There was an old woman sat spinning,
And that's the first beginning;

She had a calf,
And that's half;

She took it by the tail,
And threw it over the wall,
And that's all!
