A rambling little song built almost entirely from repeated words, tumbling 'long, long, long' down the lane alongside the singer. Its loop-the-loop structure makes it easy to remember and easy to stretch out for as long as a walk lasts.

About this rhyme
A rhyme that plays with its own length, the words 'song' and 'long' stretched out three times each verse just for the fun of saying them. There is no real story here, only rhythm and repetition. Say it in a sing-song voice and let the repeats run on.
