Four quick lines about meeting a pig with no wig on the road to Bonner. Pure nonsense, and over in a breath.

From Mother Goose / Nursery Rhymes (traditional). See the whole collection.

As I went to Bonner,
    I met a pig
    Without a wig
Upon my word and honor.

About this rhyme

Four lines of pure nonsense: a walk to Bonner, a pig met on the road, and the joke that the pig has no wig, which of course no pig would. The whole thing exists for the rhyme of pig, wig and honour.

Say it as a straight-faced report of something perfectly ordinary, that's where the fun is.
