L. Leslie Brooke Children’s Books
Leslie Brooke was an English illustrator and writer, remembered above all for Johnny Crow's Garden, published in 1903. Its short rhymes and comic animals were made to be read aloud to small children, and he followed it with more Johnny Crow books. He also illustrated collections of older nursery rhymes.
