Jane Taylor Children’s Books
Jane Taylor was an English poet who wrote 'The Star,' the poem the world now sings as 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.' It appeared in 1806 in Rhymes for the Nursery, a collection she put together with her sister Ann. The tune was added later, borrowed from an old French melody.
