George MacDonald Children’s Books
George MacDonald was a Scottish writer and minister who was born in 1824. He wrote some of the earliest modern fairy tales, and later authors including C. S. Lewis counted him as an influence on their own work. Two of his stories for children are The Princess and the Goblin and At the Back of the North Wind.
