Charles Kingsley Children’s Books

Charles Kingsley was an English clergyman and writer, born in Devon in 1819. He is known for The Water-Babies, published in 1863, the tale of a chimney sweep who becomes a water creature. He was a keen naturalist, and the book is full of rivers, ponds and the small animals that live in them.
